The eyes of March!

Writer's picture: Frank ShawFrank Shaw

Its been a hellish long winter folks and I have to say it was for me the end of a difficult year in which I spent most of t almost crippled with a terribly damaged left hip and a rapidly growing puppy dog that wouldn't let me out of his sight and er still doesn't. In order to cheer myself up I had a six week break in the north of Spain where I ate like a pig and thought like a demon in order to make a better plan for this year.

Well the leg is fixed, boat is all cleaned up and tidy and tackle all ready to go .As some of you know the guilt head bream are already starting to visit the estuary and bass fishing starts for me on 1st of .

Sooooo...this year I will be doing a few charter trips for specialist bass and bream fishing in and around Falmouth bay and its estuary. The trips will suit experienced anglers only and although I can carry 4 I would like to concentrat on parties of 2.Anyone interested please send a message.

Ive also put some effort into improving my chances of fresh bait and landing enough fish to pay my my moorings .Got some prawn and lobster pots which I can mend up for the summer and the sun is coming out very soon ...hope to see you down here .
